Lake Trust Credit Union

Lake Trust Credit Union builds new headquarters in Brighton, Michigan. The building was designed to be innovative and collaborative, where no one has their own office and people are encouraged to work together in open spaces. Lake Trust Credit Union CEO David Snodgrass says the credit union will save $7 million in operating costs over 20 years with the consolidation into the new headquarters building. The savings start by only paying for utilities at one building rather than three, he said, adding that the new building will also be significantly more energy efficient.

Reeths-Puffer Public Schools

Reeths-Puffer Public Schools saves $108K plus annually. "Since 2012 the ControlNET system has enabled the school district to eliminate a $108K annual service contract after they replaced our existing proprietary control system head-end hardware and software. The district has saved a documented 4-5% in additional energy savings due to the new operator interface’s ease of use. ControlNET likes to say 'Ease of use promotes use' and they were right! Best of all we can easily say our investment has already paid for itself, and will continue to do so well into the future."

Zeeland Public Schools

With one press it locks all school doors immediately, something the superintendent said could make a huge difference in the event of a lockdown. “If 10 seconds matters, 10 seconds matters. I would much rather be able to hit a button, lock a school and carry on business in a way we know how to in those times rather than everybody trying to make phone calls; you get this door, you get that door,” Zeeland Public Schools Superintendent Cal De Kuiper said. Administrators can also access real-time security cameras from their iPads.

Howell Carnegie Library

Howell Cargenie Library automates lighting system. "It works, it really works.  It was so cool last night at 8:15pm.  The lights were on, and then it was CLICK, CLICK, CLICK, CLICK, CLICK…  And, whoosh, all the lights went off! If we don’t override the system in the morning…they will all turn on at 9:45am. Amazing!!!!"

Beaverton Activity Center

Vice President watches and shares ControlNET video tutorials with employees to help them learn about how schedules and special events function for Beaverton Activity Center's Building Automation System. "I just finished reading through sections of the new manual and then went to the ControlNET website... there are two videos (Part 1 & Part 2) that explain pretty well how we can schedule our building in advance for holidays and special events."
